Toguard trail cameras

Toguard has been operating since 2008, selling a range of cameras, such as dash cams, action cams, security systems, and of course, trail cams, as well as equipment and extras to go with them.

Their trail cams straddle the market in terms of price and features, and they have something for beginners or experts alike. Wi-Fi, solar power, and 4K video are all on offer in Toguard’s range and they stock some very advanced, competent, and reasonably priced cameras.

Toguard Campark T200

This is one of Toguard’s top-line models, and it’s easy to see why. The T200 might sound like a killer cyborg from the future, but it’s actually a competent and professional trail cam. As a camera it boasts an impressive basketful of features, such as a 30MP photo quality and 4K video footage, IR night vision, and it’s wireless capable too, so you can get your pictures remotely through the available APP.

And then there’s the real boon of the T200, its solar powered option, meaning that you can leave it unattended for long periods with no reason to visit the camera at all. It also has provision for power to be provided by AA batteries, and these can be used alongside the solar power option.

If you’ve got to put your camera in a place that’s hard to reach or where it can’t be disturbed, then the T200 could be the perfect answer.

Toguard Campark T45A

The T200’s less impressive brother is the T45A, not so much Terminator as R2-D2, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing.

If you’re looking for something that’s simple, easy-to-use, and won’t steal all of your savings, then the T45A could be a good buy. This is the kind of camera that’s a good place for newcomers to start: not too complex, but coming from a good, well-known brand and able to do what’s needed of it.

It only captures images in 16MP, but that’s not bad for a camera of this size, and video is 1080p, which is definitely acceptable. It also supports SD cards up to 32GB and has infra-red flash, it uses 8 AA batteries for power.

Toguard H75 4K Lite

One of Toguard’s mid-range models is the H75 Lite. It comes with Wi-Fi connectivity (a surprising number of Toguard’s cameras do), and as the name says, 4K video. The image resolution is 24MP, about average for this level of camera, and as expected it also has IR for capturing shots at night. Trigger speed is advertised at an impressive 0.2 seconds and it has a detection range of 65ft.

Fully-waterproofed and running off 8x AA batteries, the H75 seems like a quite capable middle-of-the-road option from Toguard.
